Every one thinks of enhancing Adsense revenue potential of one’s website. Now you can do this even without fetching a lot of traffic. I applied these basic tips on my websites and it gave me surprising results. My earnings boosted up from less than $100 to 300$ by simply applying these tips and its growing.

Tip 1 - Advertisement Colors and Positions

This is the most common optimization tip thing which is mentioned in almost every discussion regularly but it’s for good reason. You must experiment different colors, ad positions and ad schemes which will enable you to find the best fit according to the layout and color scheme of your website. In this way you will find highly clickable advertisements combos and resultantly high Click Thru Rate will yield good amount of ad revenue.

Tip 2 - Different Advertisements at different Dates:

One must understand that the regular visitors are less likely to generate click on the advertisements as they come to read new posts and stuff on the websites and they are already familiar with the advertisement schemes of your website. On the other hand the older posts which are cached by the search engines and now have become great source of organic traffic can be a good source of earnings as search engines visitors are most likely to explore your websites by clicking on the other relevant links on your websites.

So I always keep my new posts advertisement free so that I can retain my regular visitors without annoying them with the ad boxes and when 1 week times passes then I place advertisements on the posts. I feel this is a good compromise without loosing traffic and also revenue.

Tip 3 - Target your Advertisements to Your Site Content

This is a very simple change to implement but yields great results. Use Google comment tag to get the targeted advertisements. This comment tag should contain the primary content of your website within it. In this way you can target the most relevant advertisements to your web pages.

Tip 4 - Your Content & SEO

Search Engines are the very important source of cheap and qualitative Organic traffic. Search Engines send visitors who are most interested in your web site content and Adsense advertisements being contextual advertisements are too relevant to the visitors. Our regular visitors as being familiarize with the ad boxes on website do not tend to click on the advertisements but by applying tip 1 - Advertisement Colors and Positions, one can increase Click thru Rate significantly.
